International and Domestic Certification
The Mexican Organization of Certification, A.C. (EMA, in Spanish), is a private private organism authorized by the General Management of Norms (DGN, in Spanish) certify Test and Calibrating laboratories. Our Laboratory was certified by EMA to test the products and to issue reports under International Standards of the SAE (Automotive Engineers Association), ISO (ISO), JIS (Japanese Association of Standards) and the ASTM (American Society of Tests and Materials

A unique laboratory in Mexico
Gonher de Mexico has one of the more complete test laboratories of Latin America, which is certified by the Mexican Organization of Certification (EMA, in Spanish), the Main Management of Norms (DGN, in Spanish) and the Ministry of Commerce, guaranteeing the development of products with high quality and the more competent and specialized technical personnel on a domestic level.
The laboratory is equipped with the top technology to carry out tests for oil, air filters for automotive and heavy service industries, among others.
Some of the tests developed in Gonher are the following:
Test stand for lubricant and hydraulic oil filters with capacity of 2 to 50 GPM (gallons per minute) used for the development of the tests under norms SAE HS 806, MULTIPASS ISO 4572.
Test stand for element: cleaning air filters for automotive, heavy service, agricultural , marine and industrial areas, with capacity of 10 to 1680 SCFM (standard cubic feet per minute), used to meet tests under norms SAE J-726, resistance under flow, capacity, efficiency and collapse.
Test stand for explosion of sealed filters, components and material to meet Norms as SAE HS 806, CUMMINS 10634, Caterpillar, John Deere, Navistar, and some others.
Test Stand of leakage according to SAE HS 80 method.
Test stand of fuel filters for screwed seals and cartridge, with capacity from 1.0 to 300 GPH (gallons per hour), used to meet Norm SAE J-905, flow resistance, capacity, efficiency and average migration
Test stand for stress wearing based on pressure pulses resistance with capacity from 0 to 500 PSI, and one frequency of 0 - 5 Hertz to fulfill Standards SAE HS 806, CUMMINS 10634
Test stand for lubricants and hydraulic oil filters with capacity from 1 to 10 GPM, used for the development of tests under Norms SAE HS 806 and Multipass ISO 4572 |
